Sono tornata da Monaco di Baveria da qualche giorno e non vedevo l’ora d potervi parlare del Katzentempel München, il piccolo bistrot dei mici nella zona universitaria in pieno centro. A fine recensione trovate la versione in tedesco e inglese, una piccola novità sui posticini fuori Italia.
Una tazza di Espresso, Torta, piatti colorati e piccoli pelosetti: Katzentempel München
Dal 2013 il Café Katzentempel sorge sulla Türkenstraße, in zona universitaria e a due passi dai Giardini Inglesi e propone un ampio menù vegetariano-vegano con proposte senza glutine e lattosio. Alcune proposte come latte macchiato, torta al burro, piatti salati come burger a base vegetale, sandwich do seitan e altre proposte. Il piccolo bistrot ospita dei gattini che scorazzano, dormano o giocano con gli ospiti o all’interno del locale. Ci sono altri bistrot simili a Nürnberg; Leipzig Ost ; Leipzig Mitte; Rosenheim e Regensburg.
I pelosetti presenti al Cafè Katzentempel si chiamano Balù – Il Grantlhuber; Ayla la diva; Gizmo – Il capo; Jack – Il nostro amico a tre zampe; Robin – Il cantante; Zaffiro – Il maglione a spalla. Ne abbiamo adocchiati tre in mood molto sleepy.
Ogni piatto proposto si basa su un’alimentazione sana, realizzano anche ogni giorno il pane di farro fresco privilegiando cibi a minor impatto ambientale e che rispettano anche gli amici pelosetti.
Cosa abbiamo provato da Katzentempel München?
Sunny Side Up: peperoni arrostiti, Hirtencrumble feta, spinaci, pesto, salsa per panini e insalata con mele, semini, carote, pomodori e cetrioli. Karottenlachssandwich: burger di “salmone” e carota, cetriolo, lattuga, guacamole, salsa per panini e insalata colorata. Sandwich mit buntem salat: insalata colorata con salsa guacamole, pomodoro, insalata, avocado e seitan Mentre per le bevande mela e zenzero fatta in casa e nettare di mela.
Ogni piatto è una porzione bella abbondante oltre a essere sana, leggera e sfiziosa. Locale molto pulito, ordinato e tranquillo; mentre lo staff disponibile, gentile e cordiale.

Seit 2013 befindet sich das Café Katzentempel in der Türkenstraße, im Universitätsviertel und nur einen Steinwurf vom Englischen Garten entfernt, und bietet eine umfangreiche vegetarisch-vegane Speisekarte mit gluten- und laktosefreien Optionen. Zu den Angeboten gehören Latte Macchiato, Butterkuchen, herzhafte Gerichte wie Gemüse-Burger, Seitan-Sandwiches und andere. Das kleine Bistro beherbergt sechs Kätzchen, die mit den Gästen oder in den Räumlichkeiten umherstreifen, schlafen oder spielen. Ähnliche Bistros gibt es auch in Nürnberg, Leipzig Ost, Leipzig Mitte, Rosenheim und Regensburg.
Die pelzigen Charaktere im Café Katzentempel heißen Balù – der Grantlhuber; Ayla die Diva; Gizmo – der Boss; Jack – unser dreibeiniger Freund; Robin – der Sänger; Sapphire – der Schulterpullover.
Jedes Gericht, das sie anbieten, basiert auf einer gesunden Ernährung; außerdem backen sie jeden Tag frisches Dinkelbrot und bevorzugen Lebensmittel, die die Umwelt weniger belasten und die auch ihre pelzigen Freunde respektieren.
Was haben wir im Katzentempel München probiert?
Sunny Side Up: geröstete Paprika, Hirtencrumble Feta, Spinat, Pesto, Sandwichsauce und Salat mit Äpfeln, Kernen, Karotten, Tomaten und Gurken. Karottenlachssandwich: Lachs- und Karottenburger, Gurke, Kopfsalat, Guacamole, Sandwichsauce und bunter Salat. Sandwich mit buntem Salat: Bunter Salat mit Guacamole-Sauce, Tomate, Salat, Avocado und Seitan. Und für die Getränke selbstgemachter Apfel-Ingwer-Nektar.
Das kleine Lokal ist sehr hübsch, die Preise für die einzelnen Gänge beginnen zwar alle bei 10 € aufwärts, aber sie machen das gut wett. Jede Spezialität ist schön und reichhaltig sowie gesund, leicht und lecker. Sehr sauber, aufgeräumt und ruhig; das Personal war hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Denken Sie daran, dass Sie Ihr Mittagessen/Brunch auch zum Mitnehmen bestellen können, wenn Sie es nicht aufessen.

Café Katzentempel has been located on Türkenstraße, in the university area and a stone’s throw from the English Gardens, since 2013 and offers an extensive vegetarian-vegan menu with gluten- and lactose-free options. Some offerings such as lattes, butter cake, savory dishes such as plant-based burgers, do seitan sandwiches, and others. The small bistro is home to six kittens that scamper, sleep or play with guests or inside the premises. There are other similar bistros in Nürnberg; Leipzig Ost ; Leipzig Mitte; Rosenheim and Regensburg.
The furry characters featured at Café Katzentempel are named Balù – The Grantlhuber; Ayla the Diva; Gizmo – The Boss; Jack – Our Three-legged Friend; Robin – The Singer; and Sapphire – The Shoulder Sweater.
Every dish they offer is based on healthy eating, they even make fresh spelt bread every day, favoring foods with less environmental impact and that also respect our furry friends.
What did we try at Katzentempel München?
Sunny Side Up: roasted peppers, feta, spinach, pesto, sandwich sauce and salad with apples, seeds, carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers. Karottenlachssandwich: “salmon” and carrot burger, cucumber, lettuce, guacamole, sandwich sauce and colorful salad. Sandwich mit buntem salat: colorful salad with guacamole sauce, tomato, lettuce, avocado and Seitan. While for drinks homemade apple and ginger and apple nectar.
The little place is very nice, while the prices of each course all start at 10€ and up, but they make up for it nicely. Each specialty is nice and plentiful as well as healthy, light and tasty. Very clean, neat and quiet place; while the staff was helpful, kind and friendly. Remember that if you don’t finish your lunch/brunch you can request to take away.
